pVenturing outside of my signature panel design, I've crafted a matched pair of nightstands blending a handful of woodworking techniques and styles. This pair is a combination of salvaged rainbow poplar, hickory, and baltic birch ply.
The painstaking process of laminating and joining leads to a breathtaking balanced pair that will frame any bed or couch perfectly. I explored "stitching" these together, a process of setting an internal seam between boards and "stitching" it together using more than 74 dowels. Finished with fully saturated danish oil and four coats of satin polyurethane, this pair is built to last. The pair comes with adjustable brass feet.
